Here are the official release notes that describe what's new in ClassX Broadcast Applications 5.0
The new Suite 5.0, represents the culmination of years of work, carried out according to a precise logic: unifying the development environment to facilitate the user experience. This purpose has led to the formation of basic concepts as the current timeline, keyframes, datasource, media management, and more generally ensuring common operability found in all ClassX products.
The orthogonal development of applications easier and halves the time to research and removal of bugs, and exponentially increases the consistency of the GUI and functions, reducing the learning curve for the user. Moreover, the various technologies introduced in this release are inherited by all ClassX software.
New basic on v5.0

- Native 32/64 bit support.
- OpenGL 3.0 (faster, less CPU load, largely for HD).
- Improved GUI (search filters, multilevel undo, gui floating look).
- The environment Preview integrates data binding when editing templates.
- 3D Engine built in: CGPlayout, LiveBoard, StealthCG, MoreCG.
- TemplateActions in LiveBoard.
- Fix, testing and optimization.
Thanks to Beta Testers and the Partnes, the platform is already mature and proven.
LiveBoard
- Effects on plugins.
- SimpleMediaPlayer: markIn/Out, new video management.
- MediaPlugs: StyledTicker, MediaPlayer (video/capture), SharedFrame.
- DataSource: The preview is displayed in the table, filter records, DataSourceID.
- TemplateActions.

CastaliaCG
- New interface with timeline and floating panels.
- Multi-KeyFrame: insertion with and without interpolation.

CoralCG

NB.
MoreCG is upgraded to 5.0 platform and will be completed in 2011 keeping the same guidelines of CastaliaCG and CoralCG. It will be released as a free update for those who 5.x.
Deadline for v4.9.x: Backports of some 5.0 technologies where possible. Fix compatibility and small implementations. From late May 2011: final closure of the 4.9.x development, and continues until the end of December 2011, the support in case of important bugs.
